The Connected Health Research Team (CHART): e-health from the angle of information systems
ISIS is on the cutting edge in several areas such as home care, aging, or the links between hospital care and local doctors. Our research professors, grouped within the CHART (Connected Health Research Team) are affiliated with several research laboratories (IRIT, CGI-EMAC, PHASE, LERASS, LISST). They take part in multidisciplinary projects with biomedical specialists, sociologists, and lawyers.
The Connected Health Lab, a Real Laboratory for Uses in e-Health
The school has a one-of-a-kind tool dedicated to innovation: the Connected Health Lab was developed in close relationship with the socio-economic environment. This “Living Lab” is a place of innovation focused on the patient pathway and made available to students, researchers, healthcare professionals and businesses. A real laboratory for uses in e-health, this platform for experimentation recreates the different stages of the patient care pathway: from the doctor's waiting room, consultation room, pharmacy, home hospitalization, resuscitation room, to the pharmacy…
On the initiative of the Castres-Mazamet Technology Park, nearly 900 participants meet every year in our school as part of the Summer University in e-Health. At this event, ISIS brings together all the important players in the health and digital fields: industrialists, health professionals, students, young entrepreneurs, philosophers, economists, and patients. For 3 days, participants are immersed in connected health and debate the latest innovations with round tables, TV appearances, workshops, demonstrations, the hackathon, networking, and start-up winners...
